Non-Prime Servicers Top HAMP Conversion Rates

Ocwen Financial Corp. has come a long way from their previous record, along with HomEq Servicing and Carrington Mortgage Services.

These loan servicers had the top three permanent loan modification conversion rates in the Home Affordable Modification Program as of the end of April, according to the Treasury Department.

The non-prime servicers all relied on verified income for trial loan modifications long before the Treasury required the practice.
